This topsoil will hold 2 and one half times it weight in water reducing the need to water as frequently, increase the soil permeability, advance seed growth, and create a ideal soil structure for better root structure. Grass seed can be planted straight into this topsoil but for best results we suggest tilling the topsoil in with native soils before planting. ESS topsoil can also be used on existing lawns.
